Compliance documents

Store, track and renew the certificates, policies and registers your home relies on.

Who can use it: care-home managers and administrators.

Where to find it

Open the Compliance menu inside a care home.

How to

  1. Choose Add document and pick the document type (for example an electrical safety report or a fire-safety record).
  2. Upload the file and set the expiry date. If you leave it blank, Trine suggests one from the document type's usual renewal period — you can change or clear it.
  3. Use Replace to upload a newer version; previous versions are kept in the document's history.
  4. The status of each document is driven by its own expiry date: current, due soon, or a gap where nothing is on file.

Good to know

  • The Compliance menu is for documents such as building, health-and-safety and governance records. Recurring quality audits live in the Audit tool, and day-to-day logs live in Routine checks.
  • Documents are never deleted — superseded files stay readable in history.
