Provider settings

Provider-level configuration, including the two-factor authentication policy.

Who can use it: provider and company administrators.

Where to find it

Open Provider → Settings.

How to

  1. Use Security to set a provider-wide two-factor-authentication policy (off, managers and admins, or everyone).
  2. Manage other provider-wide options such as shared categories, where available.

Good to know

  • When a 2FA policy covers a member's role, they must set up an authenticator app before using the app, and can't turn 2FA off while the policy applies.
  • Care-home managers can be affected by the policy but don't configure it.
