Who can use it: care-home managers and administrators; supervisors for the sessions they run. Available on Professional and Enterprise.
Where to find it
Open the Supervision menu inside a care home.
How to
- Start a session (individual or group) and choose a template, or No template and add your own sections.
- Review last time: the record shows the previous session side by side, and Previous actions review lets you go through earlier agreed actions and their Action Plans.
- Record Agreed actions with an owner and due date. Turn any of them into an Action Plan so progress is tracked in Action Plans (one plan per action).
- Complete the session with the supervisee, or choose Send link instead to email them a secure, login-free form. The supervisee confirms the form is about them before submitting.
- Sign off the session when finished.
Group sessions
- A group session records attendance, and each attendee acknowledges it.
- Signed group sessions open read-only. To change one, use Revise: every revision is kept as a version.
- Changing only the attendance keeps existing acknowledgements (new attendees still need to acknowledge). Changing the content resets everyone's acknowledgement — Trine warns you before it does.
Good to know
- Agreed actions turned into Action Plans file into the Supervision / Appraisal list in Action Plans.
- Reports → Supervision / Appraisal register lists sessions with their status and acknowledgements, and the history of changes.
- The emailed link respects the recipient's email preferences; you can also copy the link as a fallback.
